Terms of Use (PDFturn)
Effective date: February 13, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PDFturn (“PDFturn”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including our website and our URL-to-PDF conversion API (the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) Who we are
Provider: PDFturn
Website: pdfturn.com
Contact: [YOUR SUPPORT EMAIL]
Business address: [YOUR BUSINESS ADDRESS, OPTIONAL]
2) The Service
PDFturn provides an API that converts a URL (a web page) into a PDF document. The Service may offer both synchronous and asynchronous processing modes and may include optional features such as webhooks, batch jobs, debugging tools, or storage time limits depending on your plan.
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
3) Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and current information when creating or using an account.
4) Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
You must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
- Use the Service to infringe, violate, or misappropriate any intellectual property rights.
- Convert or distribute content you do not have the right to access or reproduce (including copyrighted materials) unless you have permission or a lawful basis.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, quotas, or access controls.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including by overloading, flooding, or sending malformed requests).
- Use the Service to collect personal data unlawfully or to facilitate privacy-invasive behavior.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service (except where prohibited by law).
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if your usage poses a security, legal, or operational risk.
5) Your content and permissions
You are responsible for the URLs and content you submit to the Service (“Input”) and for the PDFs or other outputs produced (“Output”).
You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions necessary to submit the Input to the Service and to receive and use the Output, and that doing so does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
You grant PDFturn a limited, non-exclusive right to process your Input solely to provide the Service and deliver the Output to you.
6) Plans, usage limits, and API behavior
The Service may include plan-based limits such as monthly conversion quotas, concurrency limits, available features, and retention time for generated files. These limits are described on our website or in your account area and may change over time.
You agree not to circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical limitations or rate limits.
We may implement safeguards such as rate limiting, queueing, or temporary blocks to protect service stability and other users.
7) Fees, billing, and refunds
Some plans or features may require payment. Prices, billing intervals, and included limits will be shown at the time of purchase or on our pricing page.
- Fees are generally billed in advance for the billing period unless stated otherwise.
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- Refunds are provided only where required by law or where explicitly stated by PDFturn in writing.
If you believe you were billed incorrectly, contact us at [YOUR SUPPORT EMAIL] with relevant details.
8) Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by PDFturn and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, PDFturn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal business or personal use.
PDFturn trademarks, logos, and brand features may not be used without our prior written permission.
9) Third-party services and content
The Service may interact with third-party websites because you may ask us to convert third-party URLs. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or terms.
Your use of third-party websites and services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.
10) Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFturn disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs. Rendering results may vary depending on third-party website behavior, scripts, fonts, and content.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFturn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFturn’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to PDFturn for the Service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you have not paid anything, €0).
12) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PDFturn and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your Input and Output
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
13) Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, you pose a risk to the Service, or we are required to do so by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you want your account email deleted, contact us (see “Contact”).
14) Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on our website and update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you are a consumer and local law grants you mandatory rights, nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
